Indoor Flame Retardant Microduct Connector is made from a flame retardant, Low Smoke Zero Halogen(LSZH) polymer making it suitable for use indoors in the event of fire. These connectors Make connections between Microducts quickly and easily in in-building applications, no tools required, which providing an air and water tight connection and keeping debris out of MicroDuct pathway. Transparent design affords greater control when connecting Microducts and enables visual confirmation of the presence of a cable.
Indoor LSZH Micro Duct Straight Connector complies with the European DIN EN 13501-1:B s2 d0 flame retardant standard and the American UL94: V-0 flame retardant standard.

What exactly is UL 94V-0?
UL-94 is a standard for testing the flammability of plastic materials for equipment and appliance parts. In this standard, materials are subjected to various combustion tests to understand their performance under flammable conditions. In the vertical burning test, the UL 94 V method "Evaluates the burning and afterglow times after repeated flame application and burning test specimen drops."
To attain UL 94V-0 standards, samples must meet the following standards:
HB: The lowest flame retardant grade in the UL94 standard. It is required that for samples between 3 and 13 mm thick, the burning speed is less than 40 mm per minute; for samples less than 3 mm thick, the burning speed is less than 70 mm per minute; or it is extinguished before the 100 mm mark.
V-2: After two 10-second burning tests on the sample, the flame extinguished within 60 seconds. Can ignite cotton wool 30cm below.
V-1: After two 10-second burning tests on the sample, the flame extinguished within 60 seconds. Do not ignite cotton wool below 30cm.
V-0: After two 10-second burning tests on the sample, the flame extinguished within 30 seconds. No burning objects can fall.
