BBC

BBP

Baseband Processing Unit.

Divided into baseband, carrier frequency, and control units. It adapts data rates, manages channels, and performs signal processing.

BBU

Baseband Unit.

Handles baseband signal processing, resource management, and interface provisioning in distributed base stations.

BC

Boundary Clock.

Synchronizes multiple Precision Time Protocol (PTP) communication paths.

BCCH

Broadcast Control Channel.

Used for sending critical network information to mobile devices.

BER

Bit Error Rate.

A key measure of communication quality, indicating the proportion of corrupted bits in a transmission.

BFD

Bidirectional Forwarding Detection.

A high-speed protocol to detect link failures within milliseconds, ensuring network reliability.

BLER

Block Error Rate.

BSC

Base Station Controller.
